What is duplicate profile?
A duplicate profile is a second Google listing for the same business at the same address. It splits reviews, confuses customers and weakens map rankings.
Why it matters
Two listings divide reviews, photos and views between them. After removing the duplicate, all credibility works for one profile that is easier to find.
How to use it
- Search your business name and address on Google Maps.
- Report the duplicate in the Business Profile panel.
- Collect new reviews only on the main profile.
- Update links that pointed to the duplicate.
